Location: LaBelle, Florida | Looking to upgrade my pots and pans. Preferred brands to look at please. We do have a copper frying pan (regular and deep one). I also have a skillet that I like. I'm looking for the small, medium, and large pot set with lids.
Hunny bought a stainless set a couple years ago but went for the cheaper brand and right off the bat one of the handles (plastic) broke off. It wasn't long after one the lid handles broke as well. |

For what little cooking I do these days (please don't judge ) I like my Emeril Lagasse pots/skillets. And gotta have a good ole cast iron skillet, too, for cornbread! |

Location: LaBelle, Florida | I only cook when I have to and if I can get out of it I will. Daughter is 12 and likes cooking so she will be taking over soon I hope. We have been grilling a lot now that it is summer. |

| Don't laugh but I was given an AmWay set when we got married 35 years ago and I love them. Nice and heavy, won't warp when hubby gets them to hot when empty and they clean up easily. These aren't non stick though. |

| I Cook a lot. I love Le Cruset but it is too heavy and way too expensive. Personally I like Cooks Essentials from QVC. I have the nonstick anodized aluminum and have never had a problem. Metal handles stay on well. I think that is the best for the money. I have bought different pieces I wanted instead of a set |

| Love Le Crueset! I really love my cast iron though. Once you learn the right way to use it, nothing beats it. |

What I'm looking for is the pots that you use for bowling type cooking. The 1 quart, 2 auart and bigger soup pot sizes, preferably with glass lids. |

| I am very happy with my Cuisine Art but we have an induction stove, so I had to pick total metal bottoms - I have had them a year and have no complaints! |

Location: Florida | I got a (don't laugh) Rachael Ray frying pan a year ago and I love it. Deep, cooks evenly, non-stick but also non-coated. I have bought a couple of non-stick coated roasting pans and they have scratched up and are trying to rust. Plus Rachael Ray has colors to choose from (on the outside of the pan). |

Location: Displaced Iowegian | Many, many years ago (1976), my husband bought me a set of stainless steel waterless cookware. It was one of those dinner party shows. When it was said and done, all four couples bought sets and one booked a party so I ended up with almost every piece of cookware (baking sheets, electric skillet, bowls, etc and the entire set of pans). I use every one of these pans to this day and have only had one problem. One of the smaller handles broke off. http://www.belkraft.com/Waterless_cookware.html |

Location: USA | I have 2 Le Creuset Dutch ovens that I love. I have a variety of All Clad pots and pans I got from Williams Sonoma a few years ago and I love them. They heat evenly and the two "essential pans" I have are perfect. I love the rounded sides they're not straight up and down like a traditional pot so they're perfect for making pudding or pâte à choux. |

Like I said, I buy the individual pieces from QVC. Those fit my needs best and I can get exactly what I want. All have glass lids. I use them a lot. Not too expensive and last well. |

For soups and stews, you can't go wrong with Le Creuset Dutch ovens. You can even put them in the oven. The soups and gumbos I make come out delicious in them. My roux cooks quick and I get that dark mahogany color I need for gumbo without burning. I've made pork roast, roasted a chicken and a beef roast in the oven in one. They're very versatile. They don't have glass lids, but in my experience, the steam blocks the view anyway so I've never been able to see through one.
I use my straight side 1 and 2 quart pots for things like boiling rice, eggs, steaming veggies and so on. If there is something I need to constantly stir, I don't like straight sides. I prefer a rounded bottom - to me, my sauces or whatever I'm cooking, cooks more even and when I stir it I feel like I'm able to stir everything consistently and not miss anything. I feel like my sauces get "stuck" in the crease where the bottom meets the sides in a straight sided pot. |

| All of you cooks should look up why Europe and the rest of the
world has outlawed aluminum and non-stick cookware ...
It is simple ... it will eventually help kill you ... and that
goes for cooking with aluminum foil too.
These pots and pans have an aluminum base that is encapsulated
with stainless steel which prohibits the migration of the aluminum
but gives you uniform heat across the pot or pan.
No plastic handles to break etc and the SS handles are cool if used
normally ... the lids cross fit with pots and pans ..
My set is 20+ years old and no wear and tear ... if you use them on
your BBQ pit and get smoked up .. use Bartenders Friend on them
to shine like new again.
As you can see the set consists of common sizes that you will use.
This is a great price on this set ..
