Location: The South | My husband and I did it one time, it was weird but really neat. He said he felt great afterwards but I didn't feel any different. I would like to try it again but it's an hour away, we went after a doctors appointment so we were close by. |

| I did it Saturday. The beauty shop I go to are now doing the cryotherapy. I am going to do it for 7 days straight as they claim that is the best. You can break it up into different sessions. All I know is that afterwards when I got home I had way more energy than I normally have, slept good and awoke not feeling like I needed more sleep Sunday morning. I have a lot of low back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain and I had less of that Sunday also. I am hoping it helps with my digestive problems also. |

Location: MS | I bought a package and did it about 10 times over 3 weeks. The short term results are amazing. You'll feel great. I think there are some long term benefits. It really helped my bad knee. I had so much energy for a couple days after. It really does make you feel and sleep great. But to get the most benefit you have to keep going. The place I went had tons of people that went 5 times a week. Most had chronic illnesses that it helped with. I think it's a great thing if you can afford to go regularly. |

| I am on my third straight day and I bought a package for 7 days. I have had chronic back pain, knee pain, hip pain, digestive problems, sleep problem, focus problems, skin problems, etc. you name it and I probably have some form of it. I am not on any prescription medications, only vitamins and CurOst HU. What I think this has done has helped the CurOst, increased circulation and boost the CurOst capabilities. I am 66 years old and on no prescription medication. I think that is pretty good in and of itself and I would like to stay that way. So far I have had less back pain, knee pain and I have cut down on my Turmeric that I take. My skin problems have been clearing up. So all in all I see all positive things. How things go after the 7 days will just have to see. |

| It is a cold therapy treatment where you stand in a chamber and they blast cold air to your body. It gets to a -200 degrees but you are only in there for 3 minutes. You've heard about football players who will sit in a tub of ice after a game or workout? This is basically the same thing but without ice water and it doesn't take as long. It boost blood circulation and numerous other things. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | There's been at least one death and a number of instances of frostbite to this new, unproven therapy. It sounds like this is the latest rage/replacement offered by those quack entrepreneurs who have been trying to sell their $5000 Theraplate machines for $1000 on Craigslist.
I'm pretty sure the experts selling this are making claims that cryotherapy boosts the immune system, detoxifies, and improves circulation....the trifecta of quackery.
In all seriousness, my advice is to hold on to your money. Wait for good evidence that whole body cryotherapy is safe and effective, when compared to other alternatives that cost little or nothing.

I heard of one place that offers 50% off if you buy your sessions in a bundle. The experts say that in order to get the best long term results you have to do it regularly and long term. They also sell laser machines and theraplates at reduced prices right there, or you can rent them and take them home for use in between your whole body cryo sessions.
5 will get you 10 that there are some BBs selling cryo. |

| All I asked was if anyone had tried it and if they did what they thought of it. Yes I searched it before I went and I asked about the one death. She was there alone and didn't take the proper procedures to have someone there with her. There is someone there at all times asking how you are doing. Not sure of the frostbite, but I guess if you got in there a little wet or damp. That is why they ask you if you are completely dry before you step into the chamber. All I know is that I have tried other means for pain and so far with the cryo I have had good results. Appreciate all you comments, the good and the bad. |
