Location: London Ontario | We are going down mostly to shop - we know of the Convention Center obviously but I know most(All?) hotels will have rodeo shopping in them as well. Is there a run down of where everything will be? Or does a list get posted closer to then?
I know Running Roan is at the Sands
Cowgirl Tuff and Tuff Fest is now at the Mandalay Bay but anything else to be aware of?
Also wondering where the good Viewing parties are, either before/during/after the rodeo.
Gold Buckle Ceremonies are at South Point correct? Along with the World Finals Team Roping?
what else? |

| There is the convention center, the Sands moved to an area off Fremont Street over where they are holding the barrel race, there is also Mandalay Bay, The Roper gift show which is in South Point, and usually Boot Barn or NRS at MGM. I think I am forgetting one, but can't remember. Its SOOOOO much.
Unless you are there for the entire time you will need to pick and choose the places you HAVE to go to when you are there. A few years the set ups have been horrible and I haven't gone to some places just because I physically couldn't get to the booths. My husband and his friends spent hours standing in line at the American Hat Co booth buying and having hats shaped a few years ago. Come to find out there was another, less crowded booth with their stuff in the NRS gift show.
You may want to call and ask what vendors or dealers will have a showcase of stuff if they are a larger company. Many have reps or others selling their stuff for them, specifically. |

| Cowboy Christmas at the convention center. This is the biggest and most crowded. Has the hunters expo upstairs along with the jr rodeo arena events. Be prepared to spend 2-3 days here if you want to see everything.
Country Christmas is at the Sands Expo. You will find better deals here with lots of selection. I don't have trouble getting through this one in just a day, there are a lot of booths I skip though. They have a small stage set up with dummy ropings to watch.
Roper shopping at MANDALAY Bay is a great trade show. Can get through it in less than a day and they have a GREAT selection of booths. It's personally my favorite. Have goat ropings and a small arena setup here.
South point shopping is probably 12-15 shorter rows with a good selection of boutique clothing and higher end tack. They also have shopping in the arena which is nice. Skip it unless you are going to watch the WSTR finals.
MGM did not have the big shopping setup last year like in years past.
Biggest rodeos parties are at MIRAGE & MGM. Mirage is free and MGM started charging for viewing last year. Good viewing area at south point however the line to get into their party is INSANE! buckle ceremony is also there and will be slammed so get there early.
All the hotels will have the rodeo on. Some gems of places to watch include Aurora bar at Luxor, and the still at mirage. Both have lots of TVs.
If you are looking for specific places and where they will be setup for shopping follow them on FB and then you can find out when they post it. There really isn't a list of what's where, besides the big vendor list on CC website.
Shopping is overwhelming so take your time :)
