I know there are right and wrong ways to go about things, but heaven help us someone needs to stand up for normal, everyday, law-abiding citizens. . . . Tearing down statues and monuments cannot alter established facts.
So-called historians who are revisionists try to alter history by injecting their own interpretations of events. Many of these pseudo intellectuals do not want to expunge monuments and reminders of our historical past, all under the guise of equality and harmony.
No, it's quite the opposite for many of them, particularly those with a liberal-progressive agenda. They cannot win on the merits of their socialist-utopia agenda, hence they need chaos and division to win over the support of the feeble minded. They need hate. They need racism to persist. They need xenophobia. They need homophobia.
They need feminazi's. They need abortion to flourish. They need class warfare. They need envy, hate, division, and identity politics.
Deep down inside, they really don't care that Confederate generals were part of our past. They know that removing statues and monuments cannot actually alter historically established events and facts. That doesn't mean they won't try revisionist tactics, but the main goal is the creation of hate, under the guise of eliminating it.
They need hate and racism. The frequent quote "never let a good crisis go to waste" is proof positive that they need things like this.
Harmony, productivity, prosperity, and unity are poison to the progressive left. They want one thing: POWER.
They need a thriving KKK and White Supremecist movement just as much as they need BLM, Occupy Wall Street, and Antifa. Those groups.....all of them, are vital to progressivism.
The Progressives have one key advantage over their political opponents: the media. The liberal mainstream media is what controls the focused rage. When BLM operatives shot 5 cops like dogs in the streets of Dallas, the outrage against the BLM was short lived. They even managed to turn things around and blame racism for those assassinations. This crazed zealot who drove the car into the crowd and killed that girl has been the poster boy for driving the lunatics into their frenzy which has led to the current rage of removal ol statues and monuments. One year ago, on Bastille Day, an ISIS-inspired terrorist did the same thing in Nice, France. He was much better at killing.....he killed nearly 100 people with a truck. If that exact same thing would have happened here last weekend with a similar ISIS crazed lunatic, would the outrage be as vitriolic and focused?
It won't be long and we will begin to see people calling for the Constitution and Declaration of Independence to be nullified on the basis that 50% of the attendees to the first Constitutional Convention were slave owners. We will soon see calls for Monticello to be bulldozed because Jefferson owned nearly 200 slaves.
Theses things may sound ridiculous, but mark my word, incrementally we will see this. It's not because they are sincere in their expressed desire....it's because they need these tools......for POWER. | |

No, that want him to disagree with them so they can add fuel to their fire! It doesn't matter what he says... they will try and tear him down at every turn and every chance they get! They have not given him a chance from the start.
What's so amazing about this whole thing is that for over a hundred years, some of these statutes have stood in the same place and you have never heard a word against them. Now, all of a sudden, those sweet liberals have found something to shove under the noses of the people who will get on their bandwagon, and have gotten them all stirred up over our history (the vast majority who don't even know or care what are actual historical facts)!
