Location: from the valley		 Being in the nutritional world, not equine, it is "usually" because the product is patent pending. If the product works, and someone duplciates the ingrediants, the company can kiss their hardwork bye bye. I am not sure which product you are referring too, but it would be interesting to find out if it is patented or not.
