Just got off the phone speaking with Terry from 5-star.
Anyone have experience with the Flex-Fit line of pads?

The Flex Fit isn't a line of pads that 5 Star offers it's an add on to any 5 Star pad.
So for instance if you ususally ride in a 3/4" All around round skirt pad you simply click the customize option when ordering and request the flex fit design.
It's an add on option for trail horses, Performance horses, and horses with prominate withers.
ETA:
I don't have personal experience but a friend I ride with loves hers. She saw a significant difference in the way her horse was working.

I had the standard 5 star and my mare hated when the front would touch or push on her wither. So I purchased a flex fit and it provided a lot of wither relief for her. It's similar to what the saddleright offers. I ended up going back to a saddleright because I felt like the 5 stars were too soft and didn't offer much support or protection

Interesting that you say that. I have two 5 Stars that are between 7 and 9 years old. I use them every day and love them. I'm thinking about getting a new pad, but have also noticed on the ones I saw in stores that they feel very soft and a bit flimsy. The ones I saw are thinner than what I have but felt a bit weak. I'm wondeirng if they changed the way they make them?
