LEAVING MEMORIES is like looking for Nemo
LEAVING MEMORIES IS RETIRED .. 2014 to my knowledge is his last
very small foal crop. Bred only to mares by special request.
2015 he was sterile so he was put out to pasture ...
LEAVING MEMORES was a broodmare sire NOT a sire of sires ..
JEH STALLION STATION TEXAS DIVISION has been closed for 2+
years and declared bankrupt and a bank now owns them ..
JEH are the initials of long time race horse breeder JAMES E. HELZER
JEH STALLION STATION OKLAHOMA DIVISION was open for business
at their new Oklahoma site in 2016 ..
but have dispersed all their top stallions to other stud
farms ... like James Ranch Oklahoma ... etc etc
Oklahoma move ..

This new location in Purcell is now advertising on BHW for BARREL
events in their indoor arena ..

If you want a foal out of one of the best bred Leaving Memories
mares ... look at the TINY GAY in this mares pedigree ..

CHECK WITH AMY AT SCHIMKE RANCH
http://www.schimkeranch.com/FirewaterFinale.html
Amy may have a foal out of her super nice stallion
Firewater Finale
or who knows ... you might bribe her to breed THIS mare to
either of these two full brothers to stack the genes or
TINYS GAY even stronger.... 3X
LIONS SHARE OF FAME or ON A GATOR
(full brothers
)
This is what a foals pedigree would look like with either stallion.

Here is only one sample of the gene strength of the "Candy"
horses ... Pevehouse built his broodmare band around one mare
by TINYS GAY .. the mare power was phenomenal !!
JESS GOOD CANDY
https://www.stallionesearch.com/show_stallion.asp?horse=1463
The dam of this horse was bred to GOOD REASON SA before he
was shipped to Brazil... he passed away in 2012
Here is the mess you get involved in when you breed to a dead stallion
http://www.stallionesearch.com/resources/BreedingInforamtion.pdf
*******************************************************
Here is a royally bred candy horse stallion that failed to run. Sometimes
the genes are just too rich and you need to let them cool off.
You will like this ones stud fee a lot better than the one above
CARTELS CANDY MAN

If you do not believe in MARE POWER don't even waste your
time reading this ...

HAVE FUN ...
FYI: Never overlook a Hempen mare for barrel racing. Hempen was a
compact made horse and has been dynamite on creating tremendous
runners and sires and broodmares ... here is one of my favorite sires ..

It took me 2 mares and 4 years to get one on the ground, but here is my 2014 Leaving Memories x daughter of FWF. I had always wanted one.
Sorry about that, but here she is.

I would have liked to have seen your picture ... sounds like a nice
well bred horse ..
My anti virus sez that photo site is bad news for a Trojan horse
cookie that will seize current personal information and future information
off of my computer along with gathering sites you visit ...
I put a block on that photo website for future protection ...
Put photo on your computer and use paint to downsize below
100kp if needed to post on BHW ...
Looking forward to seeing your photo ..

I LOVE my Leaving Memories broodmare. She is 19 now, I bought her when she was 4, off the track. I called the guy we bought her from and asked if she had ever been on barrels, she already knew what to do! lol. He promised she had NOT! lol. We are not breeders, but she has had 4 foals. The 1st one was by a Jody O'Toole stud, we sold her before she was 2, and I have no idea where she is, they never transferred her out of my name. The second was by a no name pretty stud, I sold to friends, she was just like my mare, just knew how to run barrels, her little jr high girl went on to make her a 1-d horse. Now I have a 2 yr old filly by Frenchmans Feature and a weanling by ASOF, keeping these 2!! After my daughter rode the frenchmans filly for the 1st time, she wants to breed back to him. I do regret not filling our pasture up with this mares babies over the years!

Love my Leaving Memories horses. Own two sons. The one we are just getting going and the other is retired. The retired one wears Carl Peavhouse's brand out of the Candy line of mares. I would take another in a heartbeat. They are prety close to my favorite line. My old guy had a lot of heart and try in him but he's living the good life now.
