I switched my horse to a hackamore and he really likes it but for making a fast run it doesn't offer enough rate. Now I do have a Jim Warner hackamore and I've loved it in the past BUT for some reason his horse doesn't have the same snap around a barrel when I run him in it. I was considering buying a Beetle hackamore but I don't think that would be enough rate either, but you never know. Any suggestions for something a little more than a S Hackamore but not a Jim Warner?

Have you ever tried a stop and turn? I know many people who swear by them. Ive ridden a few horses in one and the feel you get with them is unlike any other hack. I love them! Definitely have to have soft hands tho.
