So I'm curious what y'all do if you run your horses in the winter. What do you use to keep your horses from getting sore. I'm mostly concerned about their legs. There are so many products out there, but what do you guys use? Thank you everyone!

Depends on where you're from.
Winter and cold temperatures mean different things to different people.

why do you need a "product"?

Don't need a product, I was just curious what everyone uses when they run in colder months. In my original post, I meant there are so many products like ice boots, back on track, magnetics, liniment, poultice, ect. I was just wanting to know what everyone uses when it comes to keeping your horses feeling good after runs.

and here you have the correct answer.
20 minutes,,,,,,,no one does it because it's boring. But it takes 20 minutes of walking and steady easy movement for the body to circulate the total volume of blood in the body and remove lactic acid.
All the products in the world do not replace good old fashion body chemistry

We are in MN and we really don't do much different than the summer other than use a cooler on them afterwards. All of our horses are in good shape and they don't run any time of year unless they are ridden during the week. I make sure they are warm before they run and then walk them out good after and use the cooler. I don't use any special supplements or wraps or therapy blankets different than the rest of the year. We usually run once or twice a month in the winter.
