What is the best 2017 ton truck? My last 2 have been Chevy Duramax and really like them. Any known problems with any of them?

Love our Duramax’s. My family owns 3, and every diesel in the county neighborhood is a dmax, save for the weird guy around the corner who drives Fords and fixes them often.

Β there is no such thing as the best. All 3 are good today. All diesels can have problems.

Start looking at what the hotshotters are running down the hiway with 34-40 ft
trailers with heavy loads or 2-3 cars on board.

99% will be Ram's with Cummins diesels usually with a 6 spd manual ....

If you ask them why ... they say ...
The two brands with V8 engines are in the shop all the time and they
suck diesel like a new born calf .. lol

All diesel trucks can have issues. We have a new one ton dodge 3500 with a cummins, and we love it! I like the jake brake on it, I don't have to use the brakes a lot. We also have a few older Ford one tons and love them, but we always favorite the dodge.
We had a one ton chevy last yesr, and did not like it at all. We were not comfortable pulling anything with substantial weight behind it. We ended up selling it. We own a small construction company so we are always hauling excavators, bucket loaders and bobcats around.

I love our duramax! Its never given me any problems hauling. They all are gonna have their issues, but i will say out of the majority of our group the ones with duramaxs have the least amount of problems if any. Its all personal preference when it comes down to it :)
