Who has used it?

Was considering trying the Allstar and getting the paste.

My horse is 11 this year. We run 2-3 times a month, sometimes more during the week for practice. I liked that it was an all in one - and covered joints.

Thanks in advance.

Yes I sure do. Have been using Curost since July. Before I went to Curost I used forefront right when they came out. My dogs are on the forefront hip formula and doing awesome. I do occasionally use the forefront paste. I am doing a trial on one horse with the forefront respiratory as we speak. Going to see if it is as good as Curost total. I'm hoping it is because it's half the price of Curost and I can't keep spending 600 a month on Curost. But Curost works like no other.

What were your thoughts about the Forefront Respiratory?   I wanted to try Cur-OST but I'm just not sure I can realistically swing the cost  :( So, doing a little research on alternatives before I make a decision.

Funny you ask. Since I posted back in February on this thread I have now switched my allergy crazy horse from Curost total to Respiratory and he has had no lapses in his allergies. I can't say they made him feel even better than curost but he has maintained his good results on forefront and has not regressed. I do double dose it so one bag is 59.00 for a 60 day supply. I like the colostrum for immune and tissue repair support. I dont need the all star as I use a different joint approach so respiratory it is! Been on it 5 weeks now and both horses doing great. I still use a small dose of the curost PURE. But no longer have to pay 240.00 a month for 2 horses to be on total support. I also use Equine natural care herbs for the stomach instead of curost stomach. Curost was 70 a month I believe for stomach and equine natural care herbs are 65 for a 60 day supply. I supplement that with 1/2 cup aloe juice 2x daily.

When I thought my horse got bit by a snake last summer I fed him a bag of Colostrum (at the daily recommended dosage). He did heal 100% so I don't know if this contributed to it. We did pray for him alot.

Edited to add-it's too expensive for me to use on a regular basis

Thanks for the info, Flit! As much as I love Cur Ost, I can't afford to buy it for all of my horses. You have given some really good options. I will always give Cur Ost to my gelding that was such a mess, but for the other non problem horses I will try some cheaper comparable supplements.

I am currently trying the Respitory as well. My 15 yr old geilding has allergies and coughs. I am only about a week in and haven't rode him since Tuesday. I really hope it works. I think it's fairly affordable and I like that it has probiotics and stuff in it to help the immune system. The stuff smells good and he eats it good. I really want to try the paste!

I used THE performance last year with the allergy blend and saw some improvement. His coughing was reduced but I wanted to try something different.

I got some of the paste at a clinic last year. My horse was starting to have really loose stools when being hauled, and I could tell that his tummy was bothering him. Since I had the paste I decided to give it a try. It made a huge difference for him. No longer has loose stools, and just overall appears to feel better when being hauled. I give it to him when I load him in the trailer. I ran out a while back and could really see the change, so he's going to stay on the paste.

If you find the product that you like and plan to continue using it, if you set up your account for recurring orders, the shipping is free. I've been in contact with the company a few times here recently and they've been very helpful.

I use ForeFront and I'm also a dealer for them. I absolutely love the products and my horses are doing amazing. I also used CurOst before switching to ForeFront, a lot of which was cost related, but I have noticed a much more positive difference with using ForeFront.

I use the Allstar and I also add ForeRespiratory to my bleeder, especially in the summer months. I also use ForeRunner prerun and ForeLyte postrun. The results I am getting are amazing.

If you have any questions I will be glad to help!

I had a horse that bled a while back and I went on a mad search to try and help his lungs- I tried some well known herbs and some meds but he didn't improve in his day to day health and just looked like he felt terrible- I switched to the forefront respritory and forerunner when I run or if I'm doing a heavy riding day- the forerunner worked the first time I used it- I was so shocked I had to go and ride a day without it and then try it again another day- sure enough HUGE difference in his breathing- but the biggest thing I noticed after about 8-10 days on the respritory was my horses breathing was normal deeper slower breaths after a workout instead of shallow rapid breaths- his swetting changed back to a normal swet instead of just dripping sopping wet he just had normal sweat - the stuff is awesome - (I am not a dealer)

So a bag of Forerespirator is a 2 month supply? I looked up this product and really like the sound of it but could not find anywhere on how long a bag lasts..

Yes bag can be 2 mth. I give 2 scoops a day so lasts me 30 days it depends on horse , mine has copd and really struggles when super humid I'm in okla. I know when winter comes I can go to one scoop a day which will last 2 mths. I have never been a dealer or desire to be one til I came across this product! It has changed my moms lab dog. She has so much trouble with her hip and was sleeping all time and wouldn't hardly get around. She has been on the canine hip and joint 3 weeks and she is meeting me at the door! And her eyes are bright not sleeping as much as she was! I am going to be going to the shootout if anyone wants me to bring anything from forefront. If you have a bleeder the company recommends colostrum, forerunner paste, and the forerespiratory. Hope this helps someone!

Forefront has some amazing products!!  I am a dealer for them because we believe in their products so much.   I have used every supplement out there for our horses       (each one seems to have an issue of some kind) and  they have worked wonders when others didn't.  Plus they arent super expensive.

Do any Forefront products help heal a true bleeder? And if so, was the horse scoped after running for proof that the product worked?

Has anyone used Forefront Respiratory on a bleeder?

The recommendations for bleeder from forefront is the colostrum, respiratory, and the Forerunner paste. This does help and can be used along with Lasix or any other meds you have your bleeder on when you run. I had one customer that has 2 horses that are bleeders. One horse she was able to take quit the Lasix but the other one he still has to have the Lasix but he recovers faster and doesn't have that drop like Lasix can drop them.
