I need some ideas. My son turns 15 today. I have no ideas on what to get for his birthday or for Christmas for that matter. He's not into horses, rodeo, hunting ... he is a city boy, plays football, karate, video games, etc. The thing is .. he has everything he could possibly want or need .... except a camero (lol) which he isn't getting! He like nice things but is also aware of what things cost. He takes good care of most of his things ... except headphones .... those seem to break quite often. He's past the age of parties at Chuckie Cheese but still wants to celebrate. We took him to dinner and we bought tickets to the local college football rivalry game but I always have a little surprise for him. This year ... nothing. He's no help either because the says he doesn't know! (He knows I'm clueless about this). Suggestions appreciated!

Does he drive?  Maybe a vehicle kit with jumper cables?  Something like this will also charge his phone. ;)  I got one for my son when he got his first vehicle- he is 17 now.

A future trip somewhere fun?   My son is the same, one year for his BD we planned a trip for him and my husband to go ride in tanks and crush cars-they had a blast! It was in Michigan somewhere. He may be too young but you can  find places  to drive race cars too, sky dive, etc.  edited to add tickets to MMA fight.

All great ideas ... He doesn't drive yet. He can't get his permit for another 7 months. Thank you ladies, keep em coming!

My son is 20 now when he was 15 he got a new "race" dirt bike. He's a city kid too, I would get him tickets to the Egg Bowl ( Mississippi State and Ole Miss game) when it was at Ole Miss b/c it's closer to us. We've taken weekend trips to Nashville to watch the Preds play, or just go explore different cities because he likes history and would make the weekend about him. I don't think it's so much about what he gets to do but more about spending the time with them. I think my son appreciated that more than anything we ever got him.

This! I don't have kids, but as my sister and I got older, we really started to enjoy the gifts that were "experiences" rather than "stuff." The first year our parents did this was a zip-lining excursion for us and our boyfriends. We had so much fun!

I would just get him one of those visa gift cards, so that way he can use it anywhere and buy what he wants
