Anyone fed pretty rich alfalfa with a slow feeder? My horses have ulcer tendencies and really should be on constant hay. Since it was so droughty this summer the hay we got is mostly all alfalfa. Nervous about letting them have this free choice.

I feed Alfalfa in a slow feeder.  The horses I have are easy keepers and feeding in a Porta-feeder works.
