| I was wondering if you guys could help me determine what seat size I would fit best in for a new Corriente? I am going to order one soon, but I am not sure what size I would fit best in...I've never ridden in one before. I am 4' 10" and 105 lbs. BUT I don't want to be crammed in something too small, I like a little room to get my feet in front of me also. I got off the phone with a lady at Corriente a little bit ago, and she recommended a 13 or 13.5 and to get large youth fenders so that I won't be on the last hole...Which will be a first!! So maybe the shorter fenders will help me be able to use my legs better!! So I am stuck on seat size now...? I have only ever had two saddles, both Billy Cook. Besides not being able to reach my stirrups the greatest, the saddle just does not fit my horse. What are your suggestions on size?? Thank you!! |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | I’m 5’4” and about 115-120lbs. I have two, new style Corrientes. Both are size 14”. I wish they were smaller, I’ve come to realize. I just won another certificate for Corriente and am planning on going 13” or 13.5”. Id really like to sit in a smaller size before I decide though. Is that an option for you? |

Location: Northwest | Our kiddo just got a 14” for her award saddle. She is 110lb and 5’4”. She has room in it. My friend just got a 13” (also as an award saddle) and she is 5’11” but thin as a rail. She likes to be snug, very little extra room. Her mom was riding in it the other day, she’s probably 150 lbs and 5’5”. She was tight in it and her feet kept getting thrown back. |

Location: California | We have ordered a lot through Corriente and spoke with them plenty. Their adult saddles only go down to size 14, but if you order a cowboy seat they say it fits like a 13.5. I am 5'7" and 112lbs and could easily ride a 12.5 if I wanted to fit snug in my saddle. I have always liked bigger saddles until I started riding colts and roping calves. A saddle that actually fits me makes all the difference in the world now. |

Location: Choctaw, OK | We ordered a 14 new style and it was way too small. Fit like a 13". If i ordered another it would be a 15" but I'm not because it didn't fit my horses |

| Can't speak to the newer models (not sure if they would have a different fit)--mine is 3 years old.
I'm 5'3, 115ish pounds and my 13.5 fits a little bit on the tight side for what I like but I'm weird, I like to have some room in my saddles so others would probably consider it a perfect fit. |

| i got the colt breaking saddle this past year in a 13.5 seat. i am 5'1" and 125-130 lbs and it works good for me. i would recommend getting the shorter fenders as i got the adult and even on the last hole, they are a bit longer than what i like. other than that, i love the saddle and have gotten many compliments on it. |

Location: Ohio girl moved to PA | I just won a corriente this year and havent got it yet, i'll have it in a month, but im 5'10 and about 150 lbs and i ordered a 15" My circle Y is a 15" and it fits me perfectly so im hoping this will too. Tammy who works there suggested i get the extra long stirrups and i do like mine longer but im worried they are going to be too long.

| Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who has a corriente around the size that would fit =/ So, after reading these...I'm thinking maybe a 13.5 would be a good fit for me then? If they are running a tad small already? I know I am really short, but I don't like feeling "stuck" in a tiny saddle. Thank you guys for your replies!! This is really helping =] |
