So what exactly is in this pad? I had a Charmayne pad exactly like this a long time ago and l loved it then but like the sell-happy dummy that I am I sold it because it didn't fit my saddle at the time. Now I have a saddle that would be perfect with it, go figure. I've been thinking about buying another but now I'm more educated about what I like and want on my horses back. I use a 5 star right now, which I like but it's just a little bit big for my short backed horse.

| I agree with above, these pads suck. They’re like cardboard. I sold it and all my pads except 5 Star, CSI, and SaddleRight. |

Yes a long time ago, when I was in high school. Idk about you but I've learned a lot about quality of tack since I've been out of school. |

| These pads have always been so cheap IMO. I had a few friends who had them and they always broke down so fast.
Sidenote, that youtube gal also has a 5 star/CSI "review" which is interesting. |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | Had a lady tell me friday that the styrofoam and fleece combo keep your horses cooler in the summer because their backs can breath and that five stars were too heavy and hot for horses in the summer.... I literally couldn't hold my laugh in. |

She's spot on about felt, but I cringe every time I watch that video, because she seems to not know what a CSI pad is. She makes NO mention of the flex plates, nor does she test them. |

| yes i came across the same video. she makes some good points but i am not 100% agreeable with some other of her reviews. I was pretty shocked and disappointed with pro choice after seeing that video though. I'll never buy a air ride pad thats' for sure! I used to have one and i didn't like it and neither did any of my horses. in fact after a ride my horse reached over the fence and grabbed the pad and tore a big hole in it LOL thats what he thought of that!
