| Psalm 94:18-19 the minute I said, " I'm slipping , I'm falling, your love God, took hold and held me fast. When I was upset and beside myself, you calmed me down and cheered me up.
So I've learned to close my eyes, stop my alert scanning, and remind myself I'm NOT in the drivers seat by myself..
I want to let Jesus steer my life. Yet when possible threat arise, I often act in alarm. I tense. I flinch. I slam imaginary brakes. My reflexes demand that I take over the speed , direction, and movement of my life... instead, when life throws us a challenge, we can close our eyes, tak a deep breath, and remember that we are not in the drivers seat alone. Jesus bought us. We are His! We can invite Him to direct our lives and ask for His help to relinquish our craving for control.
It's a gift of allowing Jesus to safely guide my life. It brings comfort, peace, guidance, healing when I stay in the spirit realm of Jesus.
Within the innermost part of my being, there is a sacred place where NO turmoil can intrude, where NO feelings of doubt or failure can reside. Here, within my soul, is the peace of God. I experience and give expression now to the peace of God within me. " The peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds Philippians 4:7
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You Amen Have a VERY BLESSED SPIRIIT FILLED ,, Jesus take the wheel and steer life Wednesday all!   |
