I've had one of there saddles ordered in 2016. I liked it, but I didn't like how it fitted my hips, it kept my feet behind me when running, and it also didn't fit my horse. The saddle was a barrel style (not a new style) but I was curious if a hard seat Corriente fits different than padded, twist wise? And if their in-seat rigging better or free-er than how their regular stirrups feel? I'm not looking to buy with the horse I have right now but I'm curious for future reference. Also, had anyone asked questions from the actual Corriente place and gotten an honest answer from them that's not biased? I'd like to ask them questions but I'd be afraid of them just saying what I wanna hear.

I’m also interested. I can’t stand having my legs behind me.

Still breaking in my hard seat new style, but I find my hips and knees really hurt after riding a few hours in it, no matter what horse I'm on. I like to keep my feet closer to the cinch in more of the elbow groove area, so forward but not like completely forward, and it just pulls my legs back a little too much for my taste. Hoping with breaking it in that might resolve itself. I do feel like I'm sitting IN my seat rather than on top of it like I do with my padded from them (old style). As far as I'm aware, it's actually the same tree in both the old style and new, not sure how accurate that is, but assuming since they only offer 1 barrel tree... The hard seat is very comfortable and I doubt I'll order a padded from Corriente ever again given the choice.

I'm actually curious as well about the in-seat rigging with their saddles. If it frees up the legs a little or not.

Something everyone (including myself) tend to forget is they also offer a dropped front rigging, not sure if anyone has one of those and can let us know how that fits. I've not had a dropped rigging saddle before, so I'm not sure if it'd allow you to get your legs forward more or not since the ring is lower.
