I just learned what fodder is! How interesting! Does anyone feed it? Wondering what the cost is. Though it may be great for the horses in the winter.

I know a family that feeds it to their horses, goats and pigs, and from what they said, what their horses and goats look like, and what the pig I got from them tastes like (delicious!!), we have contemplated feeding it to our animals (goats, horses, future pigs). It's overall a very simple system, you just have to remember to start a new bin every day that you empty a bin, or you get behind a day.

Their horses were also fed hay (they rodeo every weekend) and supplements, but they never had a problem with their animals wanting to eat it. I don't believe it's that expensive either, just remembering to refill the bins every day can be taxing (especially if you go out of town).
