The pading is that what your asking? If so I'll just call it the front tree section or the padding that gos over the withers.. Or call Hilason and ask them what they call it,, LOL I have a Bob Marshall but really never gave it any thought..

              Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | cecollins081 go to Bob marshall sports saddle main page and find hows its made, and they call the front part the Front Tree section, but for what your asking I dont think theres a name for that area, I got a picture here showing the parts of a Bob Marshall saddle but no name in the area your asking about.. Edit cause I cant get the picture to load that I wanted to show you..

| There's not a "name" for it. But, it can be made either peaked (called peaked pommel) or regular. Peaked is for horses with a high wither. |
