In a 11 month old filly?

Little brat was supposed to be a colt, but came out the wrong color and a FILLY. Just kidding (kinda). I really do love her, but has anyone had one this young act like a freaking mare in heat already? I know it's spring, and she could well be old enough, but she's been doing it for months. She will lean on my panels or stall walls, especially when she's tied, or waiting to be fed, or mad I took a buddy away, etc. She pees, what seems like too frequently to me, with a bit of a funny stance. More spread out like a gelding than squatty like a mare. She "winks". Long story short, she's already driving me crazy!!!

Mine started that at a very young age, she would even tease with people as a yearling. Had a repro check on her and she has follicles that won’t release, it’s very painful and makes her act very marish... I haven’t found any mare supplements that work for her, vet I took her to suggested breeding her to see if it would resolve itself or put her on regumate

I have heard this comment all of my life when it comes to how horses or
dogs act.

Just look at the owner ...
and you will find the answer...

What feed is she on?
I sometimes think feed has a lot to do with causing mares to act more mareish... I had two 4/5yo mares that were never bad during heat, I could tell when they were in as they were a little β€œoff”, but nothing bad. They were being used hard so I started them on a well known brand of feed and they both started being pills and nasty when in heat! I didn’t link the two together until they were off the feed for the winter and the next spring instead of feed I upped alfalfa and fed oats+flax. Mare issues were gone...
