I have several hacks but need snap on the backside of an easy going horse. Ran in bozo sidepull before and it was great, maybe too much for him. Which would you suggest we try first?!

I bet a Jim warner would work great.

I wouldnt rely on headgear to get more snap, thats more of a training issue... but if a bozo was too much I would try a stivers short shank chain nose.

Agree you gotta teach one to make that move and stay up in under themselves in the turn for that snap .... also it'll stiffen one up so make sure your bending and tuning accordingly when you pull the hacks out

If you like the hackmore, try different chain curbs. Anything from a double flat, to leather to wrapping with vet wrap to a leather string type curb.
