Personal Trainer here
My personal workouts consist of various training that incorporates weights, resistance loops, cardio and most importantly for recovery and balance YOGA.
I no longer train clients, I don't have gym membership, I don't lift heavy. I actually use an app to download workouts bc I don't have time to write my own.

You'll look like a dodo, but I had a gelding back in HS that was super noodly, and I was pulling too much on the inside rein even though I wasn't heavy handed. My mom sent us to a girl to help us, and she showed me that. I felt so dumb, but it worked well enough that on our first run he turned out from under me at the second barrel LOL. And even though I ate dirt, a half dozen people wanted to know if I got a new horse bc "that first barrel was awesome!"
So I'm having the same problem with a young horse that is noodley and in order to stay with him I need the horn because he has a bigger motor than I have core, lol. So are you saying go into the 1st barrel with the wrong hand? Outside hand on rein and inside hand on horn?
I'm pretty sure I'd screw it up and have a wreck but it's intreaging.

Yes that's exactly what I did on that horse...
It felt so wrong but it worked LOL
