| One of my senior girls just walked in my classroom holding a tassel that she has to wear for graduation. This tassel is giving to those that are going to the military but bc of her dad STILL stationed overseas and not being able to be present at her graduation, she is going to be wearing it. To see this sweet little girl crying holding that tassel broke my heart.
I will never take our military or their families for granted . Thank you for all your sacrifice to ensure our freedom and way of living in our beloved USA.

| My now husband deploys in July. Posts like this mean the world. He spends more time gone than home. I couldn’t imagine adding children into our lives at the moment. |

Location: South Georgia | You are so right. I live in a military (AF) town and most of our friends are military members. The struggles they endure in that profession/lifestyle are so challenging. I do not think I could handle the stress of having a loved one depoloyed. My hat's off to them all. |

Location: Kansas | At one time I became very interested in the history of World War II. Totally immersed. The death, the destruction, the sacrifices just boggled my mind. Where would we be today without our great military.
We have an air museum in Wichita and yesterday I walked out of the grocery store to see a B-29 flying over the store. Of all the people there, only myself and one other person even knew ole "Doc" and the history behind this great WW II bomber. So exciting to see this great machine in the air. God bless our military of every era.

Correct i.e. Accurate American History should be required reading to graduate American High School!
