What do you do for legs while hauling-especially 4+ hours? I have one that doesnโ€™t like splint boots very well so I am looking for an alternative to help him when we go longer distances.

Thanks!

Draw It Out or PHT wonder wraps are my go toโ€™s no matter how far Iโ€™m traveling

I would just do alcohol wraps. No bows with standing bandages if you have to.

Absolutely nothing !! Learned that years ago. All wraps hold in heat over time. I have used sore no more poultice when hauling but no wrap on top.

Generally nothing on their legs on the trailer for that long. Shorter trips Iโ€™ll sometimes haul in my BOT wraps if weโ€™ll be running soon after arrival. If Iโ€™m hauling 4+ to a competition i generally try and plan for enough time to do some hand walking when we arrive to get circulation going again and then let him chill with his BOT boots on.

For the return trip if I have to load up and leave right after a run I will either ice his legs while I pack up, or use a poultice without wraps.
