Yes, Shelly does ... she had 4 horses there... a young filly in training filly that
placed in the money on the first day and then 3 in the finals where one
hit the 2nd barrel while spooking at the people under the covered seating
area ...
I admire the precision of all the teams Martha has hired to run the races!!
No diddling or dawdling ... run two and then tractor drivers drag in the blink
of an eye.
Barrel re-setters on the spot, announcer was on top of keeping riders in
order and ready to run their turns with great positive remarks!!
I enjoyed seeing the army of people each with a job to do when setting up
the award presentation stages .... again it was like a military drill ... lol
And then each class winner in the finals got a super action shot of them
they could copy and keep as a happy memory!!
I can see why the JOSEY REUNION is so well thought of by everyone traveling
from a lot of states to participate ..... THEY ARE TREATED LIKE FAMILY!!

This is the second year in a row that Shelly has won the SR. saddle on my horse. Little sister would have been right in there for 3D if she had not hit the barrel--one of those woulda, shoulda, coulda things! Not bad for her 8-9 barrel race though. |

They never post the results for everybody. On first and and second go they post the money winners and for the finals they post the top ten in each of the 4D's. I did not see any pictures or any results on their website so I guess since things are not running real smoothly right now there may be a delay. They usually have a ton of pictures up by now but you know life happens |

Anyone who is entered in the Reunion who is over 50 is automatically entered as a senior. The Senior winner HAS TO MAKE IT BACK TO THE FINALS and it is based on the fastest time on the day of the finals. I am sure that Shelly had the fastest time of any senior in all three days but it is only based on the FINALS RUN. They never post a list of the Seniors that ran. Actually most of us at the Reunion do not know who all the Seniors are, but they are announced as they run.
They were nice enough to give a buckle to the person over 60 that had the fastest time. A lady from Alabama won that. She had the third fastest Senior time, I believe. |

Oh I think I see what your talking about they run the seniors with the open together right? We have done that a few times in one of the NBHA districts that I ran with years ago, just ran the seniors and the open together.. So really I would have to look at the whole line up of all the riders to see who I would be looking for.. |

| You do not enter the Seniors or pay an entry fee for that. When you enter you put your birthday on the entry form. The announcer mentions that you are a senior when you run. There is only the open. |
