Struggling with 2nd Barrel....

Not my horse, just me.
My mare has 2nd Barrel all figured out but would be even quicker to get around it if I didn't suck horribly at riding her around it. 1st and 3rd go smoothly but for the life of Me, I can't make 2nd go smoothly. Since my mare really caught on to turning and finishing 2nd barrel, I have to really push her past and it seems like that change caused my seat to go to complete garbage.
I always end up behind her on the turn and completely out of
position and in her way. Most of the time end up getting popped out of the saddle horribly and ride like a drunk monkey around the barrel, losing stirrups and losing time.
Any tips? I've not had to deal with needing to push her into turns ever before but as she's getting more runs under her belt she's starting to hunt the turn more but needs to be pushed a little into 2nd so that's the root of the problem.
I'm thinking of trying to buy a different saddle - one with a nicer and deeper seat
(padded seats are going to be the end of me
). Or just start running in my wade because I'm getting tired of this ??
I know I need to sit deeper, but I keep trying to but either forget or am too worried about getting my mare past the barrel enough and get popped out.
Tips please!?!?!?
I'd rather not be as good at running without stirrups as I'm getting this year ??????

Looks like when you are leaning your legs are getting really far behind you making it impossible for you to keep steady and get up out of the turn.

I struggle the most with getting myself in
position coming into the barrel, and that just messes the whole turn up.
I don't get out of
position very often at any other turns, just 2nd really kicks my butt this year. Last year I had no issues staying stuck in my saddle.... so I have no idea what's going on!!

Just from looks you are hustling in but forget to sit on your pockets. Most of your weight is on your thighs in this pic up against the pommel. Its not the worst thing in the world but it means you have to rock back on your pockets to get your feet under you then toss youself forward but by then its too late or the cantle has tossed you.

Have you tried shortening your stirrups?

That's the first thing I did!
