We talk sires a lot. Lets discuss some of the ladies <3. Who comes to mind when you think of blue hen mares or otherwise super producers/influential?

I immediatly think Caseys Ladylove & Slash J Harletta.

My world champion producing mare is pretty blue hen herself. She is a daughter of LEAVIN MEMORIES out of a daughter of TIMETO THINKRICH. We bred her to SIR SETH, a son of FIRST DOWN DASH. She is confirmed in foal. She is 24.

Of course there is TRIPPY DIP who was just put in the AQHA HALL OF FAME. Just bought a granddaughter of hers out of a DASH TA FAME daughter. Also have a great granddaughter of hers.

FIRST PRIZE DASH has put some runners on the track through Weetona Stanley's very successful ET program. Progeny earnings are over 2.8 million. Have a granddaughter.

SWEET BLUSH, all time leading producer of ROM. Dam of LEAVING MEMORIES. Have two daughters of LEAVING MEMORIES an two great granddaughters.

There are many others but when I buy mares these are my favorites.

For you folks who like to varify things on the internet. Here are the names of my broodmares

Honey Come On
Memories Of Streakin
Perrys Dimples Dash
Stylus Intent
Liquid Hips, who by the way, was bred by Kuhlman on here. I send here pictures on Facebook so she knows her girl has a good home.

"Blue Hen," meaning a mare who has proved herself exceptional in producing high quality foals, almost regardless of which stallion might be the sire.

Sometimes.

That's actually funny.

Doesn't make what I said any less true, but it's funny

Parrs Request. I believe most if not all of her foals were AAA with the exception of one that was sired by Bert...that foal was AA.   My Dad owned Webb County (Ladys Bug Moon) for his golden years.

Blue Hen dams are not just nice proven producers BUT also usually, like sires of sires, produce daughters and sons that also go on to become superior producers themselves. Think Slash J Harletta someone else mentioned. Firewater Fiesta would be a likely contender after we see more of her sons and daughters offspring.

Just like "black type". I don't think a lot of barrel racers actually understand what a black type pedigree is.
