Location: Shhh.. I'm hiding. | Just bought a dark/almost black Belgian Malinois female puppy. I thought I wanted to name her Charlie, but it doesn’t seem to fit in with my other dogs names. I have a Tiva, and Lucca. I like them because they aren’t generic names. And I know Charlie isn’t generic for a girl, which is why I liked it. But it still isn’t creative and different enough for me. It doesn’t seem to fit her either. My plans for this pup is possibly protection training/schutzhund and Or Detection. She seems like she is going to be an excellent Detection dog as she has a nose like a hound she makes my other dogs seem like their noses are plugged. She doesn’t seem to fit the mold for a protection dog at this point which is ok. She’s pretty sweet and very independent. She likes to hang out I’m the yard by herself a lot.
So any suggestions are appreciated!

Location: Where the pavement ends and the West begins Utah | sooo, where are the pictures??? I like Sage for a name. My Malinois was very protective at 6 weeks. It was funny to see this tiny pup stand up in front of me and go to barking real fierce like. I think you under estimate your Malinois as a protection dog. start now they pick it up quick. |

Location: Kansas | I personally like Charlie for a name with that breed....automatically makes me think of C Company and that is military sounding to me. Like someone else said (and I've read on here many times)......if there isn't a picture it didn't happen.....can't wait to see this pup. Great dogs! |

| Instead of Charlie, how about Charla (sharla)? It would go with the others that end in "a". |

One of my close friends has one---she's 14 or 15 this year. She is an amazing dog--protective of her family but so sweet also. She tries to herd the cutting horses, so she has been in trouble a tad for that!! Congrats on your new family member
Pictures are required. . . . |
