Haven’t tried them but they did catch my interest. Along with some of the other ones (I think they came out with an aloe and chaste berry). Just haven’t had a reason to try it!

I haven't tried the Smartpak Turmeric and I haven't used them for my horses although I plan to. But I have used Turmeric for myself, it helps. I have severe joint pain at times thanks to Lupus/ Arthritis and use it from time to time when I'm having a flare up.

My horse has been on them for just under a month. I tried them because he did super well on the Nouvelle supplement with turmeric in it, but it was very expensive and he started refusing to eat it. So far I haven't noticed any amazing results, but I'm going to give it a little while before I make a final decision on it.

Thank you all for the replies. I take the Hemp Oil/Curcumin daily and really notice a difference. I have severe low back pain so this helps and I don't have to take the Advil/Aleve. I have also used the Curost and yes it is expensive.

Tumeric needs to be combined with an oil and fresh ground black pepper to be effective. I order a 2lb bag of tumeric powder and mix that and pepper in coconut oil, or olive or linseed oil.
