Location: Somewhere around here | So for the past year I've been riding in a treeless saddle, and honestly I love it! My horses shoulders have gotten wider and I've become a better rider with using my core more. It also is super comfy with is a huge plus because I have narrow hips and can be hard to fit in some saddles. But I cannot get over how careful I have to be while riding in it. My horse is a super hard turner and runner, and even with a short cinch that's tightened down that saddle will slipped to the side just enough to be a bother for me and my horse. So I believe I'm on the hunt for a used treed saddle. I know that I LOVE twisted narrow seats because they don't hurt my hips, but I need something that will fit a horse that's wider than a Triple Creek wide tree fit. I also need a deep seat because if not my butt will end up on the ground from my horse leaving me. Corrientes and Cactus are completely awful for me and I need something that won't break a poor woman's bank. Any ideas guys??? |

Location: North Dakota | Circle Y Flex2 in the WIDE. It is wider than the Triple Creek and it has a nice deep seat.
Kelly Kaminski has a line, and then Lisa Lockhart just left (so now they call hers "Badlands"). You might be able to find used ones in your budget. |

I'm using a 30" (or 28", can't remember now) on a 15.3 hand horse and a Reinsman pad that has the spine area clear. It's perfectly fine for slow work but once we get to going fast I'm concentrating more on keeping my saddle up right instead of running my horse correctly. |

| What kind of cinch? The longest I ever used was 30" with a 16.1+ horse with a HUGE heart girth. I also use 3/4" to 1" wool felt pads. I did use a ContourPedic once, on a horse with huge withers. I have never had my saddle slip on any size or shape horse, and have run some hard runners/turners.
I generally use a 24" to 26" girth on most horses. Felt or fleece, usually felt.

It's an AirFlex I believe. It's been a while since I've actually looked at the logo lol. I actually have a lady trading with me hopefully tomorrow, so I'm not too worried about it now but what I'll probably do is save up enough money to custom order one from Bob Marshall and then that should work better. |

| You could try a debra sibley wide or I tried the lisa lockhart wide (circle y) but I thought it was REALLY wide! Maybe the regular is better.
Sibleys arent overly wide in the gullet but have a lot of flex in the bars so they generally fit a wide variety of horses. |

Location: Dearing, GA | You might look into a Kelly Kaminski. The ones I've ridden in have been narrow in the seat. She has some flex trees, too. |
