Location: Carpenter, WY | I used tumeric years ago before it became fashionable LOL Cleared up minor coughs and respiratory ails. I probably screwed up, but I just went to Wal Mart's spice section and then topdressed their hay with a tablespoon or so. |

Location: NE Texas | The key with tumeric is to be sure the product also has an oil and a pepperdine, as turmeric requires both for absorption. Lots of good products out there, same with curcumin, which is more absorbable than turmeric, but still requires an oil and a pepperdine for absorption. There are other forms of curcumin which do not require anything and are highly absorbable, like BCM-95 curcumin. The only product I have found that contains that is the Cur-ost products, which I have had great success with. I did try turmeric paste prior to using the Cur-ost, and definitely did not pack the same punch, but I also was dealing with a pretty severe case. Here is a link that will help explain the differences and absorptions of turmeric vs. curcumin. http://www.curcuminforhealth.com/the-difference-between-turmeric-and-curcumin/

I had tried a lot of different turmeric products also. Cur-Ost was the only one I saw definitive results with. |
