| We have a mare that was officially retired this fall due to injury. Has been a rodeo mare and 1d/2d horse. She's bred FWF. I am obsessed with the DTF strong turning and athletic abitlities, that I want to either breed to him alone or a very good son, which I love Eddie Stinson too. I'm not looking to futurity, but will send the colt out to be trained. Just wanting another dream horse for myself, but I would sell if didn't fit my style. Do I fork out the $$ and breed to him or a son? |

| Have you considered Famous Bugs? Bo Hill owns him and crosses a lot of her FWF mares with him and I love all of them, wish I had one myself... |

Location: Gainesville, TX | There are definitely some sons of his worth breeding to that are top notch. Lions Share of Fame, Streaking ta Fame, Eddie Stinson, Famous Bugs, Firewater ta Fame (they were selling a few breeding of frozen but I think booked up for this next year already). But I have a son myself. It's hard to beat the real deal there. I think you will be fine either way you go though. |

Location: Texas | We finally own a daughter of Dash Ta Fame and she is very very classy. She is a little on the hot side, but man is she built correct and she is gorgeous. VERY turny and automatic. We love her. |

Location: Illinois | If it were me and I had the funds to be able to breed direct, I'd do it in a heartbeat. But if there's a son you really like and you're fine either way, I'd go the son route. I have friends with both Eddie Stinson & Lions Share of Fame babies and they're all in love with theirs & I kind of am a few of them too. I'd take a baby by one of them any day. And especially on a FWF mare. My 4 year old is FWF bred on the bottom and the colt a year younger out of the same dam is by DTF and holy cow is he something. Lance Graves has him now, he'll be at the BFA next month. He's already won poles the last 2 years at color breed congress. I think he's like 16-16.1 now and his athleticism is insane, so yes definitely a fan of the DTF/FWF combo |

| I'm not a fan of turny on turny IMO. Yes there are successful FWF x DTF crosses but DTF wanna turn, they for the most part become very bendy and break in half. FWF tend to crave the turn and be ratey. I just don't like DTF crossed on FWF or FG. Put some run in there somewhere. I'd have to go with Tres Seis if I had the DTF budget instead. A tres seis mare is currently a very expensive horse even just as a broodmare. The return investment is more profitable. |

He's not owned by me, he's 3 now will be 4 on Jan 1. I just keep tabs on him through his owner, breeder, & Lance. And yes, he was running poles at age 2. First time he won was last fall and then he won it again a week or 2 ago. |

since you bring up Treis Seis, I am in LOVE with the looks of The Kandyman! I was wondering why he isn't running anymore though if he's only 5? |

The Hanssens were just on the Married with Horses podcast a week or so ago and talked about him. He fell at a race and seemed to recover but but a week or two later wasn’t right and an exam revealed a chip in his knee. |

Location: California | I have an own daughter of FWF due in February I bred to KS Cash N Fame. If I had the funds I would have gone for DTF, but that wasn't even an option for me right now. |
