Kay-DRacing. - 2018-12-07 8:57 AM Hailey's Sister and Slick both slipped in the same exact spot. That was scary. It's going to be a tough NFR this year but Sister looks really solid, as always.  Rosa looked great! I hope they can keep up barrels going forward if she doesnt break out Louie.

The horse that ran up the fence, apparently he's a hit or miss. If he wraps his first, its wicked fast. He wasnt feeling it but holy was he flying.

Really hoping the ground holds up tonight!

I had one like that..... I don't tolerate hit or miss so he hit the road! LOL

Ya...too much money on the line to be a miss!! He looked SUPER strong...she definitely has her hands full with that one!
Was it last year that Tibby ducked the 3rd in the first round or the year before? I think she had done that a time or 2 before as well. It happens to the best of them!

He may be the smartest one in the bunch... put his little piggie in the dirt at #1 and said no f-ing way...

It looked like she didn't cue him except to yank on his mouth. Does look mega fast - but that's not good if he won't turn good ground or not.

Danyelle Campbell had one at the NFR that just hated that arena... Perfect ever place else, just not there!

Ive got one right now... will outrun your arse most places but there is the ONE building... she RUNS in toward #1, dashboards ya then high lopes thru the rest of the way.
They sure have minds and reasons of their own sometimes.
Jackie J's horse ducked twice one year at the NFR. She turned him backwards and kept on truckin.

Don't you love when the dashboard you?! My 'same run every time' horse did that to me for the first time this past summer - at state finals of all places LOL. So humbling.

The first NFR run for Tracy Nowlin on a $1,800 mare Dolly Jo got her a check - so dreams do come true. Kelly Bruners first NFR run was a nightmare I think I have had. Lets she what Hailey and Sister do from the bottom tonight - then we will see - I'm thinking they are gonna be hard to beat - bad ground or not. I'm just couch coaching so not gonna bash anyone... I like seeing lots of new faces and a returned favorite.

Oh and whoop whoop - Slick is back. Anyone know why Micheal hasn't been riding him? I hope she is ok.

I was curious why Stevi Hillman is riding Slick this year? Can anyone fill me in? Thanks.

Truck had a leg injury while in his pen. Sharpie is out still. Highpoint offered her Slick and holy moly I don't blame her for accepting! I'm really rooting for them!

Because she needed a horse that could place in the T&M. Truck is sure a nice outdoor horse, but clearly T&M is not his lick, nor Sharpie's. Happens to a lot of good horses there.

See the post above your original one.  It wasn't because she didn't like her own horses or they didn't do well at T&M.

Hers are hurt.  I saw a long article this morning "written" by Truck, about kicking his metal fence in his pen and screwing up his leg.  He'll be fine, but he's not healed yet.

Michelle’s daughter addressed it on FB that her mom was not wanting to rodeo full time anymore and concentrating on her young ones.

I feel like Jackie and Lane’s podcast has given me so much inside information, lol!

Hailey Kinsel, Taci Bettis, and Brittany Pozzi have all been on there. Great convo’s. They just talked with Jessica Routier before she left for Vegas about her summer and how she did it with 5 kids (superwoman with a super supportive husband!) and a very cool horse.

In their NFR preview episode they talked about Stevi and Slick. I think she also mentioned Kelly B and her horse being super strong and rather particular. Isn’t that the first Tres Seis horse to run at the NFR?

They had Danyelle Campbell on Thursday at the BFA and they discussed her and Jackie’s no times and how they dealt with them.

I wasn’t aware because you never really see it on TV but there is a camera pit behind the first barrel (obvious now to think about since we get that camera angle! Lol) but it’s actually really big. If you watch the bullriding from round 2 you can see it behind one of them after he gets off. It’s huge! So on top of everything else you have a bright yellow fence with a big black hole in it. I forget which direction Jackie said they could see it more (right as the 1st or right as the 2nd) and it does cause some boogers.

Ground looked much better last night - my Louie loving husband was pleased with Rosa

I believe Tell Em Belle with Nikki Steffes was the first Tres Seis to run at the NFR
