Location: Never in one place long | Looking at purchasing a gelding with an overbite. The lady said he has no trouble grazing and no issues but definitely does have a pretty good parrot mouth. Other than needing to have their teeth done more and possible grazing issues are there other things I need to worry about?

Never had a problem. They ride with the same bits as my others. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | YES,If I were looking for another horse and found one that I liked and did have a parrot mouth and he was what I was looking for Yes I would buy, had one years ago no different then my others, just have his teeth checked at least twice a year. |

I had one with an overbite. It wasn't really as bad as some that I've seen. I didn't know it until after I bought him but it didn't bother him or me at all.

Location: Texas | I have one & my vet, who is a very good equine dentist, said just to keep him UTD on dental work & he will be fine. I have had no issues and he is turning out to be a really nice horse. |

| My mom went to the NFR on a parrot mouth horse :) Same as stated above, just keep up on dental work. His was worse as a baby then he kind of grew into it, but teeth were floated at 6-9 months usually. |

Location: Northern CA | Yes. I have one and have no issues what so ever with him (other than looking at him ). I don't see where it affects his perfomrance or day to day living at all. Now saying that, I would not breed a horse with a severe overbite, but I would buy another. |
