Tonight is Military Night and the 15 Barrel Racing Finalists will be wearing "Honor Tags" of 15 fallen soldiers (all female).
Sage Kimsey will ride for SSgt. Dylan Elchin, an Air Force Special Operations Combat Controller, who was killed just two weeks ago, along with 2 Green Beret. You can see the profiles and detail on

IO | Dylan only lived an hour from us.That community is broken now ,:(.Many prayers for his fiance that he was to wed at the beginning of the new year.And so many prayers for his family,his brother is also in the military.RIDE LIKE THE WIND FOR ALL OF OUR FALLEN SOLDIERS.So glad there is still a sport that prays and stands for the flag.May they all have a safe ride. |

Dylan only lived an hour from us.That community is broken now ,:(.Many prayers for his fiance that he was to wed at the beginning of the new year.And so many prayers for his family,his brother is also in the military.RIDE LIKE THE WIND FOR ALL OF OUR FALLEN SOLDIERS.So glad there is still a sport that prays and stands for the flag.May they all have a safe ride.
Dylan was my son's teammate - they are SOF Special Tactic's Airmen. Best of the best kind of guys. When I said good bye to my son before he deployed I studied "the wall" where the pictures of the Fallen were posted. Now Dylan will be posted on that wall. :( Our hearts are just shattered and has family is grief struck also. His brother Aaron is cheering Sage on tonight though when he rides for Dylan.
Please everyone say a prayer for those deployed, their families and especially for the families of The Fallen. |

Location: Kansas | I lost classmates in the Vietnam War and rodeo friends, two calf ropers, young guys who didn't last a week before they were killed by snipers. That war was so wrong but so are they all.
