Location: TN | What brand do you use? After doing some research, I realized the brand I'd been using from my vet is actually a pretty low dose compared to some of the others out there (25mg). Plantacea seems to be a good one to look at (75 mg), but I just wondered what everyone else uses?

| Plantacea is without a doubt my favorite. I got started on it when I went to a work meeting and discussed it with a co-worker/friend. Her horse had been running on chlorpromazine and she was able to completely take the horse off and use Plantacea CBD. The horse runs and WINS in the 1D with Plantacea. So, I got it for a friend of mine whose horse also had some performance anxiety. The horse wouldn't turn the first barrel because he was a bundle of nerves, and he went to turning it right away. So, I was an instant believer.
I don't have a horse I need to feed it to for anxiety but, then I researched CBD and found what good it does for the body and overall health. So I started all of mine on it. I feed 1 scoop morning and night for inflammation, overall health and wellness. After seeing how well my horses did, I became a dealer. I've never become a dealer for anything before!
Depending on what you're looking to accomplish, dosages required may vary. You don't want to overfeed if the horse didn't need a higher dose.
I have friends who feed it pre-run for anxiety and they need a little more. Feed a couple of hours before a run. Typically that dose is 100mgs of CBD but again, can vary depending on how the horse metabolizes and their specific needs.
