Location: North Dakota | So, are you sure you don't have a DVR? (there will be a dvr button on your dish network remote)
If you don't have the DVR option-hurry and get it-awesome. I would think you should be able to google for help OR just call dish network. |

| No it is a DVD, anyway that is what the box says it is. I talked to our IT guy here at work and he told me how to connect the red, yellow and white connectors. Gonna try that and see if it works. |

| I just haven't had the time to try hooking up the color lines yet. The kids got me an early Christmas present as we won't be spending it together this year, hubby got deployed and I don't drive in Dallas traffic. They got me the DVD and some Elvis tapes. Loves me some Elvis!! |

I'm sorry y'all won't be together for Christmas; I can only imagine how tough that is. (Your husband deserves our thanks for his service, as well as you and your kids.)
My family are Elvis fanatics--I got it from my parents, and even tho Chandler is only 20 (would have thought he would have been WAY too young for El), he totally adores him! He and Daddy will get in C's truck and just blast his music way too loud for a 75 year old man |

Location: South Central Florida | Not sure if yo uh got it yet, but you may be able to bypass the DISH box and hook up straight to the TV. Then you just change the bvb input from your remote when you want to watch a DVD. IF bnb uou connect to the DISH box, it depends on which box type you have but you plug in the color.cords but have to assign a channel, on mine it was "0", zero. The newer DVD/Blueray boxes dont have an input for the color cords and only HDMI cables, which they dont Supply. I prefer bypassing the DISH box and just use an HDMI cable. |

| Not sure I know what you are referring to with all the abbreviations. I am not very Tech savy. I struggle with my phone and have just the basics. I can work a computer though with no trouble. LOL |
