I Sell Dreams Posts: 1654 Location: Freestone TX	My barn roof is so high, cats are ineffective.....they'd have to have wings themselves to get at them! I had a plastic owl with a solar powered rotating head that worked for a year.....now birds and owl are best friends. What has worked for me this year is a "squawk box" I bought that emits predator bird calls at intervals. It took it about 3 weeks to drive out all the birds, but it has worked fairly well. My cars and trailers were absolutely COVERED in bird poo before I got the box. And the twigs from their nests were getting piled high on the floor. All of that has been almost eliminated. It was kinda expensive, on sale for $100+. They are annoying and the bird calls screech. I turn the volume down when I go to the barn.

Expert Posts: 1367 Location: mi	We chased them out and shut up the barn for a few months other then when I was bringing horses in and out. then I bought netting to go over the door ways so I could have them open in the summer. That worked and was cheap.
