I wish!! I would be rich!! Then he would have 1/2 as many as DTF who the numbers sure didn’t seem to hurt. Slick had a great weekend. This is the first big foal crop that has finally hit the arena. We waited 5 years for this crop to arrive! This weekend Slick had the reserve Futurity Champion at the No Bull Futurity in Florida. He had the 2 nd go winner as well as 3 in the top 10 average at Edna, Texas. He also had the winner of the 2 nd round in Az. 1D you keep saying all the negative you want! The trainers are telling us his foals are very smart and athletic and trainer friendly! Time will tell. Well going to be the odd person out here, I didnt see anything negative said by 1D Soon's post, I just saw a number that he posted didnt see it as being negative.. I didn't see the post so maybe I am off base with my comment. But saying a stallion has 2,000 foals on the ground when really he has around 500 could stop someone to breeding to a stallion if they think their foal wouldn't have market value. ASOF was criticized many times on this board for having too many foals on the ground and have to wonder if that swayed anyone's choice in breeding to him? Don't run your mouth if you don't know - end of story. I will add this - what bothers me more then too many, is the fact that Slicks foal crop was cut in half from 2017 to 2018. And the drop from 2015 to 2016.

That's probably because not everyone has registered their foals from the 2018 crop.

How did my nice post regarding Michele turn into a slick bashing ?? This is just not cool. My post was congratulating Michele on winning the 2nd go at Buckeye. |

Slick Bred almost the exact same number of mares for the past 4 years. So as all the registrations come in those numbers will be close to the same. |

I'll just say congratulations to Michelle, Slick, Mr Cole, and Mr Martin. . . When I watched that big black guy run into the arena each of those nights in December, it just made me catch my breath for a second. A thing of beauty |

Jason, I am just so sorry my post turned into a slick bashing. You know how much I love Slick. All I wanted to do was congratulate Michele on winning with a slick kid. I had no idea that it would turn into what it did. I am sorry. |
