To those of you who are seriously interested in the direction liberals want this country to take, I have an excellent book to suggest you consider reading: “The Road to Serfdom”, by Freidrich Hayek. Hayek first published this book around the end of WWII.
It is not a real fast read, because you have to really read and absorb his message.
He led a fascinating life, and his contributions to economics are legendary.

Here is one of his many noteworthy quotes:
“I am certain that nothing has done so much to destroy the juridical safeguards of individual freedom as the striving after this mirage of social justice.”

Pelosi and the Progressive Liberal Democrat Party want two things that simply cannot co-exist, without leading to eventual complete collapse. For purposes of securing power, they want free immigration and a greater welfare state. You don’t have to be a Nobel laureate to understand how this will doom us to the ash heap of history.

I’m saying this doesn’t apply merely to means-tested welfare programs such as food stamps, Medicaid, and public housing, but to the entire Obamunist “redistributive” transfer state. Under Obamunism, government taxes the upper middle class and shifts some $1.5 trillion in economic resources to lower-income groups through a vast variety benefits and subsidies. Across the globe, this sort of economic redistribution is the largest, if not the predominant, function of government in so-called “advanced” societies.

Here’s how Pelosi and her merry band of social justice warriors see this working: The transfer state (government) redistributes funds from those with high-skill and high-income levels to those with lower skill levels. Low-skill immigrants become natural recipients in this process. On average, low-skill immigrant families receive over $30K per year in government benefits and services while paying less than $10K in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of about $20K that has to be paid by higher-income taxpayers. We are doing this now with our own citizen-indigents.....they want this to multiply, not on the basis of “humanitarianism”. Let’s be honest. They want it purely to further secure political power, and wealth for rich liberal plutocrats. Immigrants who would be a direct economic burden upon citizens through the public coffers should have no claim to be admitted into the nation. They are brainwashed into believing this is a God given right. Liberals, at the direction of their wealthy handlers, promote an immigration policy which grants citizenship to vast numbers of low-skill, low-income immigrants not only creates new beneficiaries for government transfers, but new voters likely to support even greater transfers in the future. They want to streamline this influx by enabling illegal immigration as a shortcut to citizenship.
This enhanced granting of citizenship amounts to a transfer of political power. Access to the U.S. ballot box also provides access to the American taxpayer's bank account. This is particularly problematic with regard to low-skill illegal immigrants. Within an active Obamunist-redistributionist state, unlimited immigration can threaten limited government.....one of the key pillars to real conservatism. Some “moderates” see this as a basic compromise solution: Borders should be open, but immigrants should be barred from accessing welfare and other benefits. If you believe this, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you.

Currently some 12-20 million illegal immigrants (60 percent of whom are high-school dropouts) access to Social Security, Medicare, and, over time, to 60 federal means-tested welfare programs. Opening borders with the redistributionist state still intact will result in a larger and more confiscatory government.....anyone paying attention to Ocasio-Cortez-Cortez and her 70% tax on the very wealthy? Has anyone run the math on her air-head proposal?

Power-hungry Progressive Liberal plutocrats understand that a steady stream of low-skill immigrants will help him build a much larger, tax-fueled massively bloated government.

In the end, we will have lived on that “Road to Serfdom”, when theory becomes reality.

Of course Trump had this master plan to lay off the government workers permanently and that was why he forced the shutdown. He lost that master plan too.

Frodo - 2019-01-27 11:37 AM Just in case the viewers of liberal media need to be brought up to date, the caravan traveling from Central America has grown to 12,000 and the Mexican government is helping them with their journey to the U.S. border after hinting (lying) to Pres. Trump they would stop them.  This is the part where all federal aid to Mexico should be halted.   Some of these migrants I saw on FOX this morning were wearing bandanas across their faces, I would say because these countries are emptying out their prisons and they'd rather not be recognized just yet.    As Castro put it during the Cuban boatlift where Jimmy Carter sat on his butt and did nothing to stop illegal Cuban migrants "I have flushed my toilets into America."  Castro emptied his mental institutions and prisons into our country.

Southtxponygirl - 2019-01-27 12:05 PM I think since the Dems are fighting OUR PRESIDENT and the migrants from all over central america {the good and bad} knows this, they know they will be welcome by all the dems {Thank You Nancy} and get all the free handouts they are offering to all the illegals here in the States..This has really cause these migrants to group up and flood our state and take avavaged of what is going to be offered to them once they are here..They dont need to come over here the right way,WHY when the Democrates want them over here illegaly..They {Illegals} know they can get away with this, the Democrats has proving this over many a time.

Did anyone see how many Illegals have actually voted in our elections in TX? About 58,000. The TX AG is looking into it. If it is that bad in TX, just imagine what is like in other states. Just keep giving out Drivers Licenses to Illegals.  The Dems/Libs just want to 'import' new voters.

As you all know, we are all just racist and 'tin foil hat' wearing. 

However, that is all just 'fake/faux news'.
