I need a little advice on my lame horse. He came up lame right before New Years. It was super swollen around the fetlock joint on the front leg and he was lame at a walk. The swelling went away in a couple days to a week but he is still off. You can't tell at a walk it is only at a trot and not a terrible bob, but enough. I had an appointment last week at the vet but got stuck on the road because of the weather and missed my appointment. My job is getting super busy so I was debating to reschedule or just ride it out.

I would definitely have your vet come out and do a lameness exam. Better safe than sorry!
