Any suggestions on supplements for hooves splitting?

I really like the farriers formula & their life date hoof dressing . 

I use Atwood's brand hoof supplement. 

Something to keep in mind is hooves typically split for two reasons. First and foremost is the weather. If your horse is out in the pasture 24/7, their hooves are constantly dealing with moisture in the morning from the dew, then drying out. That will cause splitting. Second reason is a lack of proper trimming and balance of the hoof. 

In 60 years of horse ownership I never found anything better than Equine Relevere Hoof Dressing. Not even a close second. It's very hard to find today.

There was, may still be?, a person from this site selling an imitation and calling it Miracle Hoof Dressing or something like that. It is not close to the same as the original.

Platinum performance is doing the trick on my horses.. just had the farrier out Thursday and he said their feet were amazing. I dont do anything special except clean them out on occasion if it's been muddy before I put them up in the barn.
