Hey there ! I usually give a few doses of forerunner paste after worming and vaccinations to my horses. Wormed my horses yesterday and forgot I was out of paste. Then realized today is Easter. Lol. Store will be closed. Lol. Tractor supply is open and they have probios. Has anyone ever used it????? Thanks !

Yes, I actually keep a tub of it in my feed room. I just used it the other day when my 4 yr old came up with really yucky diarrhea.. cleared him right up after a few doses of it. Good stuff to have handy .. I dont feed it daily ... 

Thanks! Tub of it is really cheap so I will pick some up. I’m thinking about switching from regular platinum to the GI. Then I won’t need to worry about it. 

I was thinking the exact same thing about the platinum GI .. I like that it has the bio sponge in it. Its not much more price wise. I've got 25lbs of the regular platinum to finish up first! If I only decide to keep 1 supplement, itll be the platinum GI  all the crazy spring pasture grass is tearing their guts up I guess lol! They are down to only 1 hour now on turnout which sucks but it's for their own good. We've been having to shred about every other weekend. I wish I had a dry lot but I dont

Mine are dry lotted. I had no idea pasture grass would tear them up. lol I have lots of green grass around my house so I let them nibble few bites after I ride. Lol 

NeverTooOld was the one that turned me on to Probios.  So after worming or other "traumatic" stuff (!!) I give our herd two of the chews for a few days.  As a matter of fact, I stocked up on some yesterday at TSC.  Good stuff!

Mine go on the powdered Probios after deworming for 3-4 days. A little scoop per horse per feed does it. Also after any time any horse gets an nsaid for more than one dose.

Thanks all! I went with the probios powder. Little small jar. One scoop AM and PM for each horse. Looking good! 

Dont really have an answer about probios but Im shocked tractor supply is open. I work at one and we have have signs out al week we are closed today. Figured it was company wide but guess not.

Yes we all need to watch to fresh green grass that is coming up.  2 weeks ago I lost my mare to colic.  Not sure if it was the grass or not but I have locked my other two off the big pasture.
