I sure like mine. Very comfortable for me, and fits my wide back mare. They are a bit heavy, but well made, with good leather. I don't feel locked in, just nice and balanced, where it is easy to keep your heels down and legs underneath you and not get thrown forward. I have several other saddles, including a Shilo Contender, that I use once in awhile, and always wonder, why am I riding in this?? Very much prefer the Stingray!!

I had one. Beautiful saddle, excellent leather. Extremely secure seat which is the only reason I got rid of it. I like to have a little flatter seat and more freedom when I ride. The stingray locked me in from the hips down. It put my leg in an awesome position and I would have felt confident running any kind of horse in it. They are worth a try for sure if you like a more secure ride. At home loping circles I felt like I had a seat belt on and was just relaxed as can be. It does a lot of the balancing work for you.

I LOVE my Stingray. I had a custom saddle made for me and my mare and felt like I sat on it not in it and wasn't secure or balanced. I was never comfortable in it, the stirrups/fenders hurt my ankles knees. I then sat in and test road a Stingray and that all changed. In 5 minutes of riding it, I felt comfortable, balanced, and confident. I purchased a new one after that and even brand new, it felt comfortable, the leather is great quality, and I feel balanced but free to move. Definitely worth every penny. My only regret is I didn't buy one sooner. They are great saddles.
