Blue Cross/Blue Shield is always a good way to go.  I don't think any of them are cheap.

What is a rough price to pay a month/year? Just need a ball park figure.

They're all so variable depending on deductibles, etc.   Her best bet would be to call insurance companies and get some estimates.   Your daughter may want to factor in vision care, dental and prescription which will naturally up the ante.
