Today I have to put my horse down only 18 due to kidney failure and she is the best horse.

Very sorry :(. I was always thankful my old man went out on his own terms in the pasture rather than me having to make the choice for him. 

It's heart-wrenching to lose a four-legged friend.  I always wish my old horses and pets would go on their own but they rarely do.  

Your animal loving friends on this board feel for you. We've all been there.

So sorry for your loss. It’s never easy to lose one, but even worse when we have to make that decision. I am sure you did everything you could for her.

I'm so sorry for you.   I had to make a decision for Dan almost a year ago--July 20. . . It's so hard, but know you did right by her.   What you did for her was pure love.  Hugs, and prayers for your hurting heart

I am so sorry. It is truly a hard choice to make but brings needed peace to those animals that we love ..... They take a piece of our hearts but we still have the fond memories!!!
