Location: LaBelle, Florida | I had a 'career' job fall in my lab. I interviewed it and got the job. I'm switching from horticultural to construction industry. While it is construction, I will be handling the paperwork end of things and some customer service so feel like I should start wearing make up again. There will be oppurtunites for me to move up and advance so I feel the need to 'up' my game a bit. I won't be going overboard with it, just to even out my complexion and maybe some eyeliner. My question is has anyone used the 'airbrush' type applicators for foundation? I'm early 50s, blond/roaned out, pale skin with typical Florida outdoor all the time skin...(already see a dermatoligist for skin cancer removals). Thanks in advance for comments/advice offered. |

Location: Randolph, Utah | Go to Ulta, Sephora, or even a make up counter in the mall and ask them what they reccomend. Sephora will give you samples to see if you like it or not. I love my MAC foundation and eye liner. Better than sex masacara is the bomb! LOL Pricey but it stays on really well. |

Location: Oklahoma | I wear a combination of a few brands... I use Clinique lotion, Younique primer, Clinique liquid foundation, Clinique loose powder. MAC blush, Younique eye primer, eye shadow either Younique or Bare Minerals. I set it all with the Younique Setting Spray. Liquid eye liner from Younique. I used to use the Better Than Sex mascara... but Younique has the Epic 4D (looks like fake lashes) and the Younique Epic. I apply my make up at 4am. Even at 8pm it still looks good. |

| I work in the oilfield industry and 95% of the time in my office by myself or around male coworkers, so makeup not necessary, however, about once a month one of the big hot shots or top customers pop in to say hi unexpectedly.. so I always try to look done up and professional. I’m not big on makeup so really focus on clear, healthy skin and natural makeup. A little highlighter, blush, light eyeliner, mascara and brows. Less is more! |

Location: LaBelle, Florida | More is less is great for me. I haven't really worn make up in years since I have been working in a 'greenhouse' situation. If my skin were better, I probably wouldn't even worry about make up. However, I am dealing with some skin cancer removals and treatments so my I have scars and blotchy places that I would like to tone done. Thank-you for the ideas

| You’re beautiful (: I struggle with skin cancer removal spots and sun spots too. I do not sell or in any way am I associated with Rodan & Fields, but have had very good luck with their products evening out my skin tone and taking away irritation and redness. I just purchase straight from their website so I don’t get bugged by any reps. That might be an option for you? Their sunscreen is the only kind I’ve tried that hasn’t made me breakout or get rashes from so I feel it’s worth the $$ for me. |

| I have struggled with several skin cancers being removed. Quarter size off the side of my nose, dime size upper lip, part of my ear-- and about 8 others... I went to Ultra they have an SPS50 makeup. IT WORKS. Two horse shows out in the sun the whole time.. no burn. Makeup looked ok and that layer of foundation keeps the dirt out of your pours. Much better for your face. I hope you have an ultra close. The last time I had to have a medical peel on my face. No fun on that!! Keep that skin covered.. :) |

Location: LaBelle, Florida | I'm actually moving indoors from outdoors (from greenhouse to more of sales admin job). I did get a 'preachin' from my dermatoligist about the sun. I just started going last year and in November had a basil cell removed from lip about the size of dime. We did the mohs procedure where they test onsite and ended up taking a piece that was pretty big (from center of lip to the corner) and I had to have reconstruction surgury. The scar and my lip formation, while not horrible, is noticable and they told me that time should help with the appearance (I'm not concerned about it). I go back Monday to have another smaller one removed and then I will see what is next. |

| Loreal Paris Infallible. Get it at Walmart. I know, I know, you shouldn't wear cheap brands, BUT I found this stuff is pretty great. Excellent coverage and stays on even when you sweat. There is pro glow and pro matte. For oily skin use the matte and for dry skin use the glow one. I have used both and like the matte better. Stays on better and better coverage. I first tried it because I figured for $13 it was worth a shot. I do use expensive brands for my makeup though. BTW congrats on your new position!

Location: In the land of peanuts and cotton | Go to Sephora or Ulta and ask for a sample of IT Cosmetics CC(color correcting) cream. It’s very light on the skin unlike a foundation. I never buy anything without trying it first because I have such sensitive skin. Ulta sometimes will. Sephora is the bomb.com when it comes to samples. Their samples are usually enough for several applications and they’ll let you get 5 different kinds. For mascara Their REAL or Better than Sex is my two favorites. ETA: if your just wanting a very simple light, more natural makeup with not too much coverage just try a simple powder. There’s tons of brand out there. Find what works for you.

Location: Randolph, Utah | Another suggestions, if you have the time and money go get your lashes done. I didn't have to do anything with my eyes when I had lashes. They were dark enough to make it look like I had liner on, sometimes I'd add a little eyeshadow or liner to my bottom lashes. They're kind of a pain getting them filled but I loved mine. |

I second the IT Cosmetics CC cream! It has sunscreen, is light and good for your skin while providing buildable coverage. I ADORE the IT eye cream! And their Gel Brow pencil is the best ever -- stays put and looks natural. Although IT Cosmetics pushes their foundation brush for applying their make-up and creams, I prefer using a damp makeup sponge to apply the CC cream -- smoother coverage IMO. I use a serum before applying the CC cream -- my favorite is Boots Lift & Luminate Serum. |

Location: Where the long tails flow, ND | Younique came out with a foundation stick that is so quick and easy. It's light weight yet has great coverage. Also just released an SPF 30 veil yesterday :)
Good luck in your new job!!
