That officially wins the worst hit barrel injury I've ever seen!  I have been kicked in the shin and didn't do that much damage.  Hope you heal quick then buy some shin guards!

I remember when one of our local gals hit a barrel and actually broke her leg.

Ouch! Shin Guards lady

I have scars on both shins from years ago but nothing like yours.  You win, I guess if you want to call it that.  It will be a long time before you can put a shin guard on that leg but I hope you never run without them again.  Yikes.
