Need help!!! By the time I get home in the evening to ride those GIANT B-52 horse flys are in full flight mode!!! I have tried numerous sprays but they are landing on both of us!!! Anyone have any suggestions besides riding under a tarp!!! It’s getting old. Been bit by them before and not wanting to experience again!!! All suggestions are appreciated- the lottery gig isn’t working out to be able to change my riding times so I have to go from there!!!

I mix some up. It is made by MARTIN it is 13% permethrin but will have to go look. I am in for the night. I add citronella, lemongrass oil, citrus oil and one other. (Again will have to look) and skin so soft. This keeps every thing off. Cheap too. DO NOT USE THE CITEONELLA LAMP OIL FROM WALMART. That is kerosene. You can get those oils at a health food store. I bought the four in a package deal off Amazon. I get the Martin Spray at the feed store last year but you can get it on line. Google Martin 13% flyspray. Will check on the name of the spray and the oils and get back to you. I mix up in a one gallon sprayer. Walmart had them for $6.58. That is a buy! (Garden center). This will keep everything off. The drawback is you have to spray regularly like morning and night.
I ride with one of those shoo flies (looks a crop with a "tail" at one end) so I can "swish" them off.
Streakysox what do you mix yours with? Water / mineral oil.....?
Oh lord I don't think the shoofly thingy would be in my best interest but then again we would probably out-run the flys!!!!
