My 6 yo gets full loading dose of Adequan 2x a year, chico, acupunture and laser once a month, but I worry that it's not enough. Guess I'm paranoid. I have talked to his vet about adding either Pentosan or Polyglycan in before races, but he doesn't think it's necessary. Thoughts?

Mine get adequan 2x a year full load dose just like yours. I use Polyglycan MONTHLY and will use LEGEND before a long weekend where my horses are traveling long distance or making a couple rodeo runs. Nothing orally or feed through. You could do pentosan monthly and Adequan twice a year but your vet knows best. 

What is the difference between pentosan and polyglycan?
